This project is a replica of the of the vintage Altec 436c compressor.  The Altec 436c was a tube, vari-mu compressor, similar to the Altec R124 used by The Beatles at Abbey road and the Universal Audio 175.  Drip Electronics offers a PCB and support for this project.

• Accepts Sowter’s Altec transformer replicas or Sowter’s Fairchild input and UA 175 output transformers
