Projects > Drip Electronics 660 & 670 VariMu Compressors
The Drip 660 and 670 PCBs are exact replicas of the Fairchild 660 (mono) and 670 (stereo) comp/limiters. To quote the Drip website, “THIS IS THE FAIRCHILD CIRCUIT.” Like the originals, the Drip 660 and 670 use ten transformers and twelve tubes in the signal path for each channel. Drip Electronics offers PCBs and support for this project. With five power transformers to wire and up to 440v power lines, this build is emphatically for the experienced and committed.
