The LAZ 525 is a replica of the vintage API 525 compressor for the 51x Alliance format. LAZ’s PCB accepts API-style discreet opamps and a Lundahl 1540 input transformer. It is also designed to minimize wiring: only trafos and pots need to be wired to the PCB.
