Recording Magazine Reference Preamp

Projects > Recording Magazine Reference Preamp

This mic preamp project comes from an article written by in 1998 Paul Stamler for Recording Magazine.  In the article, Stamler gave instructions for building the solid-state, transformer-balanced mic preamp he used to do microphone tests for the magazine.  The preamp is dual-gain-stage, IC-based design with a bypassable 3-band equalizer.
