JLM Hybrid Opamp
JLM's Hybird is an opamp in the 2520/990 footprint that combines a Burr Brown FET input opamp with discrete transistors. It can be set to run in either class A or class A/B modes. According to JLM, the class A operation has a touch of the "silky," "softened" sound of the JLM 99v, while in A/B mode it passes very fast, snappy transients. <img src="http://wiki.diyrecordingequipment.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/HybridOpampFinalBuilt-300x294.jpg" alt="jlm hybrid opamp" title="HybridOpampFinalBuilt" width="300" height="294" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3797" /> <strong>Features:</strong> <ul> <li>OPA2604AP IC opamp</li> <li>THD = 0.008%</li> <li>Can be used in place of any 2520/990-style DOA</li> </ul> <strong>Price:</strong> $30 for full kit <strong>More Info:</strong> <ul> <li>Available from <a href="http://www.jlmaudio.com" target="_blank">JLM Audio</a></li> </ul>
