Projects > CAPI VC528 ST2 Console Channel
The VC28 is Classic Audio Products’ DIY replication of a vintage API console channel for the 500-series and 51x Alliance formats. The module consists of a balanced line receiver, fader, discrete voltage buffer, high- and low-pass filters, and a post-fader amplifier. Among other uses, this module can be paired with an API-style mic preamp to replicate the input signal path of an API console.

Hey are these HP LP filters ready yet for sale? I want a pair.
thanks Don.
I wish! Apparently Dan Deurloo of Collective Cases tested a prototype, but there are no kits available yet. Keep an eye on this thread.
Complete bundle
Yes, I agree this is a very handy piece of gear. Especially for the money. I use them all the time as signal speilttrs, and to warm up keyboard signals before they hit my recorder. Pretty quiet, too. My only complaint is that the OPL (limiter) feature is kinda useless (nasty pumping), but that’s easily avoidable. The only feature that would make it better would be a ground lift.Keep up the great work on this site!
